In shortMost players like its control and forgiving sweet spot, and it is easy on the arm. The usual drawback is modest power, and the springy face sends blocks long for some. A few say it cracked after hard play. A good fit for patient, control-minded players.

Loves it: arm-friendly and consistent with great spin from the rough face, but modest power.
“I love it. Very arm friendly and allow for shot consistency very nicely but with nothing flashy in power The rough surface makes unbeliveble spin though”
A month in after moving to the right side: bigger, more forgiving sweet spot with good power.
“I bought the adidas and have been using it for a month. Great racket. I love it and have nothing but great things to say about it.”
Nice racket when I stop trying to smash everything. I like the control from the back and there's a decent amount of room for a slightly messy contact. But when I want to finish a point, I have to do more of the work than I'd like. Probably better suited to someone more patient than me lol.
A left-side player who really enjoys the Metalbone Carbon CTRL 3.4 for its control and power, but would like a little more power.
“What is the perfect upgrade from Adidas Metalbone Carbon Ctrl 3.4? I really enjoy the racket and like the control and power.”
Tested it in training: liked the control and sweet spot, but found it short on power.
“I had an opportunity to test the Adidas Metalbone Carbon CTRL 3.4 yesterday during a training session and did like the control it offered along with the sweet spot.”
A month with the 2025 model as an intermediate right-side player: very forgiving and much more controlled; it took a few games to love it.
“It's so forgiving and I play much more controlled”
Trying a friend's felt more stable with much more control than their Head Vibe; liked the textured face.
“lately I tried the Adidas Metalbone Carbon CTRL 3.4 of a mate and it felt much more stable, less "loose" in my hand and gave me way more control of the ball, I also really liked the textured surface.”
Easy, light and controlled, but lacks easy power on returns off the glass.
“its okay to start with, but you will not get the same easy power for the basic returns from the glas.”
Amazing control and decent power, better than the ST4 for them.
“I can also really recommend the 3.4 carbon ctrl. Amazing racket! Amazing control. Very decent power (better than St4 for me)”
Good in defence and with balls off the glass, but they feel less effective at the net and on overheads and slower than with their old Neuron; pretty good all-round.
“Actualy playing with a Adidas metalbone carbon control 2025 because my first racket (Neuron 24) was broken.”
A great control racket with modest ball output; survived a hard glass hit unscratched.
“I have the Carbon CT|RL 3.4 and it's great racket, ball output it's not great, but hey, it's a control racket”
