In shortA light, dry control racket that players like for its precision and quickness. The main downside is a very firm feel, with a few reporting elbow or wrist discomfort, and it can feel demanding or short on power. Some call it superb, others were not convinced.

bought it because the shop guy said its a control racket. it kind of is, but its very firm and dry and my elbow started complaining after about 3 weeks of playing twice a week. light in the hand and quick at the net, which i liked. sweet spot is small so my bad days are really bad. not terrible, wouldnt buy it again
Felt they had found the right racket in the stiff Counter Viper 2026, but their wrist started to hurt after a while, which they put down to its long grip; it also felt lower on power than the Head Extreme Motion they went back to.
Loves the sweet spot and weight; the only downside is that it's quite hard.
“I have a babolat counter viper 2026 i love everything about in terms of sweetspot, weight etc only down side is the hardness its quite hard”
Plays with it now and agrees it is a dry, offensive racket in a control format that does not help much.
“Es la pala con ,a qué juego ahora y 100% de acuerdo contigo, pala seca que no ayuda mucho y ofensiva con formato control. 10/10”
Calls it a terrific racket but finds it too stiff in winter.
“Yeah its a terrific racket, although I like it a lot more when the weather is warmer. In winter its too stiff in my opinion.”
Coming from the Counter Viper 2023 and 2025, found the Counter Viper 2026 much harder, perhaps due to the new lacquer finish.
“Es verdad que la 2026 counter la note mucho más dura igual por el lacado nuevo”
