A left-handed, aggressive high-intermediate player who tested the Air Viper 2026 against the Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0. Found the Babolat far more manoeuvrable and much more powerful; it is hard and the sweet spot is small and unforgiving, but being so light they reach the ball in time more often. Calls it a gem, ranked ahead of their Vertex 04 and the Hyper Pro.

Ridiculously light and fast at the net, volleys feel great. But it is stiff and dry and off-centre hits get punished hard. Fine if you hit clean, not if you're tired.

Compared with the AT10 12K 2026, found the Air Viper light, fast at the net and very good for attacking, with decent viboras. They had many mishits and felt it was unstable blocking fast balls, possibly because they are used to heavy, solid rackets.

Owns the Oxdog Hyper Pro and Hyper Pro+ 2026 but tried a demo Air Viper 2026 for a week and felt better in every respect: a perfectly fine sweet spot, more power than both Oxdogs, sharper and more agile at the net, and a more precise serve. They plan to sell one of the Oxdogs.

An aggressive right-side player (about 5.0 on Playtomic) who moved to the Air Viper 2026 after the Oxdog Hyper Pro and Ultimate Tour X, wanting a lighter racket. At about 357 g it accelerates much faster, which suits their quick smash and helps at the net, while staying firm; the small sweet spot hasn't bothered them. The dual-density foam took some getting used to on slow balls, and the finish feels less premium than Oxdog's.

Left the Metalbone CTRL over its trampoline effect and is loving the new Air Viper: slightly less control, but lighter, more manoeuvrable and clearly more powerful. The sweet spot is bigger than last year's model, though smaller than the CTRL's.
