#5 in Best Padel Rackets for Power 2026#7 in Best Padel Rackets 2026
In shortLight, quick and easy to move, with a crisp, firm feel that most players like at the net and on overheads. The main downsides are a small sweet spot that punishes off-centre hits and a demanding character. Several say it is bigger and more forgiving than the 2025 version, but it suits players with decent technique.

I love the 2026 Air viper more then the 2025 one, I sense the sweet spot is bigger and the racket is more easy to use, the maneuverability is incredible, power I would say 6.5/10 and with a very crisp touch that I enjoy. not suitable for beginners or low intermediate, you need good technique to manage this racket. Flas smash is my favorite with it, balls are coming back to my side with ease.
A player who has owned three Air Vipers says the Babolat Air Viper 2026 has improved a lot over earlier versions' small sweet spot: much lighter than their Kombat Fuji, dry feel, precise, medium balance and great overhead.
“He tenido 3 palas de airviper. Las primeras versiones me molaban pero el punto dulce fue bastante pequeño. Acabo de probar la de 2026 y ha mejorado mucho.”
Tried the Air Viper 2026 and loves it at the net and overhead, especially viboras, but at the back under pressure or returning serve their control is lacking compared with a Vertex Hybrid.

The praise reviewers mention most: fast at the net (10 reviews), easy power (3 reviews) and forgiving (3 reviews). For example: Tried the Air Viper 2026 and the AT10 12K 2026 for two games each and kept the Air Viper because it is lighter and easier to move.
The complaints reviewers mention most: small sweet spot (5 reviews), demanding (4 reviews) and head-heavy (1 review). For example: Loved a friend's Air Viper 2026 on first try, finding it much easier to move than a Metalbone HRD 3.4. Their own new unit felt different: a harsh sweet spot, wobbling on slight mishits and less power on overheads. They later sold it, concluding that units vary in feel.
