A left-handed, aggressive high-intermediate player who tested the Air Viper 2026 against the Oxdog Hyper Pro 2.0. Found the Babolat far more manoeuvrable and much more powerful; it is hard and the sweet spot is small and unforgiving, but being so light they reach the ball in time more often. Calls it a gem, ranked ahead of their Vertex 04 and the Hyper Pro.

Ridiculously light and fast at the net, volleys feel great. But it is stiff and dry and off-centre hits get punished hard. Fine if you hit clean, not if you're tired.

Loved a friend's Air Viper 2026 on first try, finding it much easier to move than a Metalbone HRD 3.4. Their own new unit felt different: a harsh sweet spot, wobbling on slight mishits and less power on overheads. They later sold it, concluding that units vary in feel.
