I bought after trying my friend viper soft for a few hits and loved the power with it on volly and vibora but when I actually played in a game with it I realized quickly it's too much for me to handle, the sweet spot was not big enough and the high balance made me struggle too much carrying it around, felt too heavy and demanding. I can see the appeal though, the foam is reactive and gives you a lot of power so if you can manage it than it can be a real treat, but you need to be at least in advance level for this racket imo. My unit was not heavy, it was 360g.

Babolat Viper Soft Juan Lebrón 3.0 2026
53% positive16 reviewsView price on Amazon
In shortA powerful, head-heavy diamond that most players enjoy for overheads and volleys, with a firm feel despite the name. Some find it demanding, and a few report paint flaking or the frame breaking. Several say it is easier to handle than the regular Lebrón Viper.

Bought the Viper Soft 3.0 on impulse despite being wary of diamonds, and after a few sessions absolutely loves it: harder than their Vertex Hybrid, with more punch on overheads and volleys and a sweet spot they find easy to hit. At 372 g with an overgrip it still manoeuvres well, with no arm or wrist problems.

“attacking overheads and volleys feel like they have more punch to them now and I don't find it hard to hit the sweet spot at all!”
Chose the Viper Soft: more demanding than the EA10 Hybrid, especially in handling, and the very head-heavy balance loads their forearm, but it doesn't penalise them in defence as much as feared and moves well; one match in.

“como tiene el balance muy tirado hacia la punta sí que me carga un poco el antebrazo”
Has played only the Viper Soft this year and loves it: easier to manage for non-pros than the regular Lebrón Viper while keeping a rigid face. They sold the 2025 regular Viper after a few weeks because its sweet spot was too small.

“The Viper Soft is easier to manage for non pros, while still offering a rigid face. It's a great racket for advanced players looking for a hard diamond.”
Plays the Viper Soft and compares it with the regular Viper: the Soft is lighter, gives a better feel of the ball and has a bigger sweet spot, while the regular one is drier with slightly more vibration and only marginally more control. Both are good, but the Soft is more pleasant to play (comment in French).
Calls the LeBron Viper 3.0 Soft a great, lovely racket: very powerful and medium hard rather than soft, with more absorbing carbon than the regular version, though the paint chips easily.

“Great racket. The paint chips easily but it's lovely to play with. Very powerful, it isn't 'soft', I'd say it's medium hard”
LeBron soft 2026 is absolutely amazing to play with! It’s got a ton of power and I made it a point to pick the lightest unit in the store so it’ll be more manoeuvrable for me. It weights at 376g now with an overgrip and head protector and it’s been solid to help me develop my offensive game
Calls it amazing to play with and very powerful. They picked the lightest unit in the shop for manoeuvrability; it weighs 376 g with an overgrip and head protector and has helped them develop their attacking game.

Owns the Lebrón Viper Soft 3.0, the regular Viper 3.0 and a Siux Fenix, and prefers the Soft to the Fenix: power is easy to access and volleys and overheads feel solid and heavy. It takes some adjusting to, but they don't see it as too advanced.

“The lebron soft adds a little spice to shots and the power is easily accessible.”
A professional player found the LeBron Viper Soft 3.0 2026 a disaster in their warm climate, with far too much trampoline, though manoeuvrable for its power.

“JL 3.0 Soft is a disaster for me. Way too much trampoline effect.”
Tested in cold weather: stiff but friendlier than the regular Lebron; a great racket despite the name.
Show quote
“I tested in cold weather and I felt it stiff but in a more friendly way. I don’t know why they called it soft”
Prefers the regular Lebrón Viper to the Viper Soft: oddly, the Soft feels harder on full-power smashes, and their elbow feels more vibration from it.
Show quote
“My elbow just feels the vibration from viper soft more.”
This player, who owns both 2026 Lebrón Vipers, calls the Babolat Viper Soft Juan Lebrón 3.0 2026 a great racket; it was the first of the two they bought.

“La soft es un palon... Fue la primera que tuve de las dos.”
A very good racket, but theirs broke.

“Currently playing with the Juan LeBron viper soft, verry good racket. But it unfortunately broke..”
Owns both the Viper Soft and a Head Motion and finds the Soft much harder.
Show quote
“la Soft es mucho más dura al menos que la Motion, que también la tengo”
Paint started flaking off around the holes of their Lebrón Viper Soft 2026.
