I bought after trying my friend viper soft for a few hits and loved the power with it on volly and vibora but when I actually played in a game with it I realized quickly it's too much for me to handle, the sweet spot was not big enough and the high balance made me struggle too much carrying it around, felt too heavy and demanding. I can see the appeal though, the foam is reactive and gives you a lot of power so if you can manage it than it can be a real treat, but you need to be at least in advance level for this racket imo. My unit was not heavy, it was 360g.

Babolat Viper Soft Juan Lebrón 3.0 2026
53% positive16 reviewsView price on Amazon
In shortA powerful, head-heavy diamond that most players enjoy for overheads and volleys, with a firm feel despite the name. Some find it demanding, and a few report paint flaking or the frame breaking. Several say it is easier to handle than the regular Lebrón Viper.

Bought the Viper Soft 3.0 on impulse despite being wary of diamonds, and after a few sessions absolutely loves it: harder than their Vertex Hybrid, with more punch on overheads and volleys and a sweet spot they find easy to hit. At 372 g with an overgrip it still manoeuvres well, with no arm or wrist problems.

“attacking overheads and volleys feel like they have more punch to them now and I don't find it hard to hit the sweet spot at all!”
Has played only the Viper Soft this year and loves it: easier to manage for non-pros than the regular Lebrón Viper while keeping a rigid face. They sold the 2025 regular Viper after a few weeks because its sweet spot was too small.

“The Viper Soft is easier to manage for non pros, while still offering a rigid face. It's a great racket for advanced players looking for a hard diamond.”
Tested in cold weather: stiff but friendlier than the regular Lebron; a great racket despite the name.

“I tested in cold weather and I felt it stiff but in a more friendly way. I don’t know why they called it soft”
Owns both the Viper Soft and a Head Motion and finds the Soft much harder.

“la Soft es mucho más dura al menos que la Motion, que también la tengo”
