In shortPlayers are split. Some find a good mix of power and control, with precise placement and quick handling at the net. Several find it demanding, with an unpredictable sweet spot, less smash power than hoped, and little improvement over the Vertex 03. Suits experienced players better than those stepping up.

After a year, their Vertex 04 2024 gives unpredictable trampoline bounce on lobs and overheads compared with friends' rackets.
“start struggling with my bullpadel vertex 04 2024. In last few months I have lots of mistakes on lobs and overheads”
Owns the Vertex 04 2024 and found it needs more effort to generate power than a borrowed Vertex 03.
First game as a newer player: it takes getting used to and punishes off-centre hits, but confidence and placement came by the end of the match.
“I had multiple points where Id miss the sweet spot and get punished. Honestly though, you can see the potential! Certainly towards the end of the match I could build up confidence and accurate placement.”
Three matches in, struggles to find the smash sweet spot but places the ball hard and exactly where wanted on other shots.
After months of use finds it very quick and precise but short of smash power, so went back to the Metalbone.
Tried the Bullpadel Vertex 04 2024 and liked it.
Older than 24 months. These may describe an earlier version.
Has played the new Vertex 04 for a month and finds it a great mix of power and control that suits their game; it is more centrally balanced and less head-heavy than the Vertex 03. Build quality is top class, but the rough TopSpin surface wore almost smooth within a month.
“I bought also Bullpadel Vertex 04 and have been playing with it for one month now. It has provided a great combination of power&control and suits my play style very well.”
Moved up from a Hack Comfort to the new Vertex 04 and struggled with control, going back to the Comfort. Finds the Vertex needs proper technique and a full swing on every shot, an advanced player's racket, while the Comfort still has power with more margin for error.
“With the Vertex 04 I feel like you need proper technique on every shot with the full motion so it really is an advanced player racquet.”
Owns the Vertex 03 and 04, finds the 04 slightly softer, lighter and with less hitting power, and prefers the 03.
Finds it perfectly balanced and super easy to play with: medium touch and a low balance for a diamond.
“Vertex4 is a perfect balanced racket, I find it super easy to play with (4 years of playing, 3 years of padel classes). The touch is a medium one, the balance is low for a diamond racket”
Coming from a Nox AT diamond, they found it super hard to play: the sweet spot is hard to find and it feels unpredictable.
“I bought the vertex 04. But I find it super hard to play! Finding the sweet spot is hard and I feel like its quite an unpredictable racket, and I can't perform my shots with confidence.”
Moved from the Vertex 03 and finds the 04 more manoeuvrable but a little more elastic and less solid.
Long-time Vertex user who found the new 04 practically identical to the previous model, disappointed by the lack of improvement.
A Vertex 03 player who tried the new Vertex 04 and Vertex 04 Hybrid hoping they would improve their game. Both disappointed: much harder than the 03, and friends who tested them felt the same.
“Now i tried the new vertex 04 and the vertex 04 hybrid. I thought it would improve my game, especially the hybrid. But both rackets were for me a disappointment. They are much harder than the 03.”
Has played about ten matches with it and calls it a great all-round racket that works well for everything.
Found the Vertex 04 far too powerful, with lobs and volleys going astray, and went back to their Hack Comfort.
“I used it, and it's got way too much power for me. I went back to my hack comfort.”
