It's very much like the vertex hybrid 2025, very easy to play with, sweet spot is all over the racket so very hard to miss hit, power is 4/10 so not amazing for attacking style player for its one of the best all rounder rackets. I would say level is good for beginners + up to advance, mostly for right side players.

#3 in Best Padel Rackets for Control 2026#4 in Best Padel Rackets 2026
In shortPlayers describe a control racket with a large, forgiving sweet spot and little trampoline effect, liked for its dry touch and manoeuvrability. Downsides are units heavier than listed, firmness that gave some elbow or arm pain, and smashes needing more effort. Some remove the stock grip to cut weight.

Their new Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 weighed 384 g out of the box (tag said 370 g) and 388 g with an overgrip. On the first test, smashes were more powerful and it was much more forgiving than their Head Extreme Motion, but it was tiring and viboras felt odd.
Show quote
“It weighs 388g with the additional overgrip and smashes were more powerful because the racket is not only heavier than my Head racket, but also much more forgiving. Still, it was taxing and viboras felt especially weird.”
Bought the Vertex 05 Hybrid a couple of weeks ago: good sweet spot, a surprisingly low balance and easy handling, and still plenty of power; they like the Hesacore grip for their sensitive tendons.
Show quote
“Good sweetspot, VERY nice/low handling/balance (everybody holding it is surprised by this) but still a lot of power if you hit it right.”
Switched to it from the Nox AT10 2025 to get away from the trampoline effect and couldn't be happier: a dry touch, good placement and enough power when needed. Taking off the Hesacore grip raised the balance slightly and improved their overheads.
Show quote
“It’s a dry touch, ball doesn’t fly off, I get good placement and I get enough power when I need it. TIP: I took off my hesacore and the balance shifted up slightly which made my overheads better.”
Confirms the Vertex 05 Hybrid has barely any trampoline effect and is solid on volleys and defensive shots, with a large sweet spot that makes it a great control racket. The trade-off is that smashes and viboras need more effort.

“the vertex hybrid 05 has barely any trampoline effect and is solid on volleys and defensive shots. The downside is that you’ll have to put more power for smashes and viboras”
A right-side intermediate player who has used it for three months. Enjoys the ball output and sweet spot but finds it a bit heavy and hard, and is looking for something similar with a softer core.
Show quote
“i've been playing with the vertex hybrid for the past 3 months and really enjoy its ball output and sweet spot. However, im finding it a bit heavy and hard”
Calls the Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 an excellent racket that does everything well: stiffer and drier than the AT10 18K with little trampoline effect. After moving to the left side they struggled to finish points with it, feeling the balance sat low with the Hesacore on, and keep it as a backup.
Show quote
“Does everything so well and was stiffer/dier than the AT10 and not alot trampoline effect which I loved.”
Has used the Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 for several months and likes its premium build and feel, but developed tennis elbow after switching from a lighter Adidas RX Series Light, which they put down to the extra weight and firm face.

“I’m currently using a Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026, and have been for several months now, I really like the premium build quality and overall feel, however, since switching I seem to have developed Tennis elbow”
Their Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 weighed 386 g out of the box; after removing the Hesacore and using two overgrips it is 364 g and has never given them arm pain. Lighter, it lacks a little power but is very manoeuvrable at the net.
Show quote
“Mine came in at 386g out of the box. After removing the hesacore and just using 2 overgrips it’s now 364g which is perfect and I’ve never once had arm pain with it.”
Owns the Vertex 05 Hybrid and finds it noticeably drier than Nox rackets, with less trampoline effect. Its low balance makes it easy to handle and great for volleys and bandejas, though a head-heavy racket would suit someone after consistent smashes.
Show quote
“I have bullpadel vertex hybrid 05 and I can confirm, that bullpadel is more dry feeling racket then nox. Less trampoline effect for sure.”
Played the Vertex 05 Hybrid before moving to the Nox EA10: very arm-friendly with a nice touch and a lovely racket overall. They never got used to its shape, though, and prefer the AT10/EA10 hybrid shape.
Show quote
“Nice racket, Vertex 05 Hybrid was what I had before the EA10. Very arm friendly and like you say a nice touch. It was a lovely racket but I couldn’t get used to the shape.”
Plays both sides with the Vertex 05 Hybrid and likes it so much they own two and plan a third: a big sweet spot, manoeuvrable, decent power when needed and a lot of control.
Show quote
“I feel the sweet spot is big, it’s manoeuvrable, has decent power when required and high control levels.”
Removing the Hesacore from the Vertex 05 Hybrid made it feel very head-heavy; with an undergrip, an overgrip and the Easy Vibes moved down, it now feels much like the 04 Hybrid.

“Yo le quité el hesacore y la sentí muy cabezona”
A 3.2 Playtomic player loves the Vertex Hybrid 2026's firm feel for precise shots and deep lobs, with plenty of spin and a huge sweet spot, but struggles to put easy high balls away or smash them out.
Show quote
“Love the firm feel for precise shots and deep lobs. Can generate enough spin and sweet spot is huge.”
Uses the Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026: big sweet spot, medium balance and good manoeuvrability, with a hardness between the Counter Veron and Counter Viper.

Loves the Vertex Hybrid 2026 but struggled with overheads until they removed the Hesacore grip, which brought more arm pain until they fitted a snake-style grip.
Show quote
“I use the Vertex Hybrid 2026. I love the racket but I struggled slightly with my OHs.”
Rates the Vertex 05 Hybrid as very good, but its firmer feel and slightly head-heavy balance brought on a shoulder issue, so they are selling it for an AT10.
Show quote
“The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid is very good but I did start to get a shoulder issue”
Has the Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026: firmer with less trampoline than an AT10 18K and a little more power, though not as easy to move; the sweet spot feels huge.
Show quote
“Almost the whole racket is sweet spot.”
Tested the 2026 Vertex line: the Hybrid is really good for control and perfect for right-side players, with a bit less power.
Show quote
“The hybrid ist really good for Control perfekt for a Right sight Player but the power ist Little Bit less”
An advanced player who had the Vertex 05 Hybrid and didn't like it after the ML10 Quantum: more mishits under pressure than with a Nox or the Adidas Multiweight CTRL, though it is a fine racket with some bite.
Show quote
“I did a lot more mishits in pressured situations than I would do with with the Nox or Adidas Multiweight ctrl.”
Tried the Vertex Hybrid 2026: good overall, but less agile at the net than their AT10, and the firm feel made lobs land short.
Show quote
“Maneuverability felt worse than my AT10 — it didn’t feel as quick or agile around the net.”
Owns the Vertex Hybrid 2026 and an ST4 Pro: the Hybrid is a great all-rounder, less head-heavy, more manoeuvrable with a massive sweet spot and less rebound, still powerful.
Show quote
“Vertex Hybrid 2026 is just a great all rounder, less head heavy, more manoeuvrable and massive sweet spot.”

Show quote
“I have that racket and it’s amazingly balanced, easy to use, great at defending, and lots of power.”
Liked the Vertex 05 Hybrid's touch but found it too heavy and hard to manoeuvre at 380 g+; removing the Hesacore and adding two overgrips made it feel much better.
Show quote
“I removed the hesacore yesterday and added 2 x head padel pro’s and got it down to 364g, played with it today and it felt so much better.”
Swapped the Vertex 05 Hybrid's Hesacore for a thinner grip, bringing it to 352.7 g; it feels like a different racket, lighter and more offensive, and they like it far better.
Show quote
“I end up with a 352.7g vertex 05 hybrid. The feel completely changes too. I like it way better.”
Disliked it at first after the Nox but fell in love after about 15 games; versatile with a great sound and feel.

Lighter, more forgiving and easier to time than the ST4, but less stable and less powerful.
