Removing the Hesacore from the Vertex 05 Hybrid made it feel very head-heavy; with an undergrip, an overgrip and the Easy Vibes moved down, it now feels much like the 04 Hybrid.

In shortPlayers describe a control racket with a large, forgiving sweet spot and little trampoline effect, liked for its dry touch and manoeuvrability. Downsides are units heavier than listed, firmness that gave some elbow or arm pain, and smashes needing more effort. Some remove the stock grip to cut weight.

Rates the Vertex 05 Hybrid as very good, but its firmer feel and slightly head-heavy balance brought on a shoulder issue, so they are selling it for an AT10.
