In shortPlayers describe a control racket with a large, forgiving sweet spot and little trampoline effect, liked for its dry touch and manoeuvrability. Downsides are units heavier than listed, firmness that gave some elbow or arm pain, and smashes needing more effort. Some remove the stock grip to cut weight.

A right-side intermediate player who has used it for three months. Enjoys the ball output and sweet spot but finds it a bit heavy and hard, and is looking for something similar with a softer core.
“i've been playing with the vertex hybrid for the past 3 months and really enjoy its ball output and sweet spot. However, im finding it a bit heavy and hard”
Calls the Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 an excellent racket that does everything well: stiffer and drier than the AT10 18K with little trampoline effect. After moving to the left side they struggled to finish points with it, feeling the balance sat low with the Hesacore on, and keep it as a backup.
“Does everything so well and was stiffer/dier than the AT10 and not alot trampoline effect which I loved.”
Has used the Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 for several months and likes its premium build and feel, but developed tennis elbow after switching from a lighter Adidas RX Series Light, which they put down to the extra weight and firm face.
“I’m currently using a Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026, and have been for several months now, I really like the premium build quality and overall feel, however, since switching I seem to have developed Tennis elbow”
Rates the Vertex 05 Hybrid as very good, but its firmer feel and slightly head-heavy balance brought on a shoulder issue, so they are selling it for an AT10.
“The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid is very good but I did start to get a shoulder issue”
Tried the Vertex Hybrid 2026: good overall, but less agile at the net than their AT10, and the firm feel made lobs land short.
“Maneuverability felt worse than my AT10 — it didn’t feel as quick or agile around the net.”
Tried the new Vertex Hybrid 05 and got elbow pain almost immediately from its harder, drier surface.
“the new Vertex Hybrid 05 which I tried gives me elbow pain almost immediately because of its harder and drier surface.”
