In shortPlayers describe it as powerful, especially on smashes, with a firm, dry feel and good control for those who can handle it. It is demanding, heavy and hard to manoeuvre in defence for many. Several report cracking, sometimes within weeks. Suits strong, technical attackers.

The Fenix Pro 5 was demanding for them: medium sweet spot with many dying mishits, and they smashed better with a round racket.
Volleying was a challenge and balls often flew to the glass, so they switched to the Metalbone 3.4.
“I find the Fenix quite a challenge in volleying. The ball feels like escaping the racket early before i put i slice to the ball.”
Tried the Fenix Pro 5 black and hated it, finding it less forgiving and its very hard construction off after a Vertex 03 CMF.
